We raised €5.5M to bring voice AI to every business

We have closed a €5.5M seed round, led by 6 Degrees Capital, with kfund, Italian Founders Fund, Decelera and a group of business angels joining in.

That is the news. But a funding announcement is a boring thing to read on its own, so here is the part we actually care about.

Every day, somewhere near you, a business loses a customer because nobody could pick up the phone. It rings during the busiest hour, the team is already serving three people at the counter, and the caller simply dials the next name on the list. Nobody at that business ever knew the call happened. It shows up in no report, on no dashboard, in no end of month review. It is the quietest leak a small business has, and almost every service business in Europe and LatAm has it.

This round is money to go and close that leak faster. Below is where we are, what we are building next, and why we think this problem is worth a company.

Why we are doing this

Talk to a garage, a dental clinic, a hair salon or a restaurant and the same scene comes up every single time.

Someone on the team spends half their shift repeating the same five answers. Opening hours. Prices. Whether there is a slot on Thursday. Where to park. And while they repeat them, they are not doing the work they were actually hired for.

The experience on the other end of the line is no better. You wait. You call three times for something that takes twenty seconds to resolve. You leave a message in a voicemail nobody listens to.

Two losing sides, no villain. And it is exactly the kind of problem voice AI can solve today, not in five years.

Our thesis is simple: voice AI should be available to any business, not only to the ones that can afford a call center. This is not about replacing people. It is about handing the repetitive part to a machine so that people can do the part where they actually matter: taking care of the customer in front of them, selling, handling the difficult case, solving what no script covers.

When that works, both sides win at the same time. Better businesses and a better customer experience. It is not a trade off.

Where we are today

We launched commercially in October 2025. Since then:

  • Hundreds of thousands of calls answered every month.
  • Hundreds of businesses using HeyDiga daily.
  • A team of around 40 people across Madrid and Barcelona.

And the thing that does not show up in the metrics but keeps us going: people who try it do not go back.

Five products, five industries

We do not believe in the generic agent that does everything and is great at nothing. A clinic does not talk like a garage, and a restaurant does not need what a real estate agency needs. So HeyDiga ships by vertical, with the vocabulary, the flows and the integrations of each industry

Who is backing us

Huge thanks to 6 Degrees Capital for leading the round, and to kfund, Italian Founders Fund, Decelera and the group of business angels who came in with them.

About:

What is HeyDiga?
www.heydiga.com is a conversational voice AI platform that answers phone calls for service businesses. It picks up, answers questions, handles bookings and appointments, and hands over to a person when needed.

How much did HeyDiga raise in its seed round?
€5.5 million.

Who led HeyDiga's seed round?
6 Degrees Capital led the round, with participation from kfund, Italian Founders Fund, Decelera and a group of business angels.

What kind of businesses use HeyDiga?
SMBs and mid market service companies: clinics, garages and car dealers, beauty and wellness studios, restaurants and real estate agencies.

Does HeyDiga replace customer service teams?
No. It takes the repetitive calls and the ones nobody can pick up, and leaves the conversations where human judgement makes the difference to people.

Which languages and countries does HeyDiga support?
HeyDiga operates across Europe with agents in 50 languages. Get in touch to confirm coverage for your case.

How long does setup take?
The goal is for a business to have its agent answering calls within minutes, connected to its calendar or CRM.

How can I try HeyDiga?
Reach out through the website and we will set up your agent in minutes.

Frequently asked questions: choosing an AI solution for your business

How much does an AI phone agent cost for a small business?
Pricing depends on call volume and on the vertical, and it is usually a monthly subscription rather than a per seat licence. The useful comparison is not against zero, it is against the cost of the calls you are missing today and the hours your team spends repeating the same answers. We start at just 49€/month.

Will my customers realise they are talking to an AI?
Some will, some will not, and that matters less than whether they got their answer. HeyDiga agents are designed to be clear, fast and natural, and to say they are an assistant when asked. What customers notice most is that somebody picked up on the first ring.

What happens when the AI does not know the answer?
It hands the call over. A voice agent should recognise when a conversation is outside its scope, transfer to the right person or take a message with the full context, and never invent an answer. Handover rules are set up per business.

Do I have to change my phone number?
No. In most setups you keep your number and forward calls to HeyDiga, either always or only when nobody picks up within a few rings.

Does it work with the software I already use?
That is the part that decides whether a voice agent is useful or decorative. HeyDiga connects to calendars, booking systems and CRMs so that appointments, leads and notes land where your team already works.

Can it answer several calls at the same time?
Yes. This is the biggest practical difference against a human receptionist: peak hours stop being a bottleneck, because ten simultaneous calls get answered the same way one does.

Does it work at night and at weekends?
Yes 24/7. A large share of bookings and enquiries happen when the business is closed, and those are the calls that today go to voicemail and never come back.

Which languages does it handle?
HeyDiga works across Europe and LatAm in 50 languages, including regional variants of Spanish. Get in touch to confirm the exact list for your case.

Is it GDPR compliant? Are calls recorded?
Any voice AI handling customer conversations in Europe needs a clear answer here, especially in healthcare. HeyDiga is built to comply with GDPR, with defined data processing terms and configurable recording and retention.

How is this different from the "press 1 for bookings" menu I already have?
An IVR makes the customer do the work of navigating your business. A voice agent lets them just say what they want, in their own words, and resolves it. The difference in abandonment rates between the two is not subtle.

How is HeyDiga different from a general purpose AI voice tool?
General tools give you building blocks and leave the hard part to you: the flows, the vocabulary of your industry, the integrations, the edge cases. HeyDiga ships as a product for a specific industry, so the setup is closer to configuration than to a project.

Do I need someone technical to set it up?
No. The goal is that the person who runs the business can get their agent live and adjust what it says without writing anything or calling a developer.

Can it also call customers, not just receive calls?
Yes!!

How do I know whether it is working?
You should be able to see every call, its transcript, what was resolved and what was handed over. If a provider cannot show you that, you have no way of judging the tool, and neither do they.

We are small and the personal touch is our advantage. Does this not break it?
The personal touch is what happens when your team has time for it. Right now a good part of that time goes to reciting opening hours. Moving that to an agent is what makes room for the treatment your customers actually remember.
